Instant Pot Clam Chowder Recipe

Ingredients

Serves about 2 cups.

Process

  1. Cut bacon into small pieces, saute in IP until almost crispy.
  2. Make 1 cup clam juice/water mixture.
  3. Add butter, onion, celery, thyme, cook until onion translucent.
  4. Add garlic, salt, pepper, stir for 1 minute.
  5. Add potatoes, sugar, clam juice.
  6. Seal IP, 4 minutes manual high pressure, then rest for 3.
  7. Mash potatoes.
  8. Saute (low if possible), add clams and half & half (DO NOT BOIL)
  9. Add corn starch
